Welcome to pareek.net, an email portal for the pareek community We are pleased to bring you pareek.net email, courtesy of Google Apps!  This means you can now get a pareek.net email account (for example, rajiv@pareek.net, or generally yourname@pareek.net) and send and receive emails using gmail's web interface or using your favourite POP3 client such as Outlook.  Isn't that much neater than a yahoo or hotmail 'free' account?  Supported by Google, it is fully secure, and no one but you will have access to your email. How can I get a pareek.net email account? If you would like a pareek.net account, send us an email at admin@pareek.net requesting the email address you would like. (Google does not yet allow the functionality of self creating email accounts on hosted domains, so you cannot create an account by yourself and have to ask us.)   Sometimes we receive requests for creating dozens of accounts at once. Generally that includes everyone in the extended family, including the 5 year nephew and the 85 yr old grandmother, ie people who never really have use for email. 75% of the accounts we create do not use their email more than once. Please do not burden us with requests for email accounts that you really don’t think will ever be used. How will it work? You will access your email at the URL http://gmail.pareek.net - which as you will notice will take you to Gmail's website, only that your email will end with "@pareek.net" instead of "@gmail.com". Or you could go to start.pareek.net, which will allow you regular google customization of the start page. Is it secure? Can you reset my password and see my email? It is as secure as gmail. When we reset an account’s password, Google automatically resets the account and deletes all existing email from it. So even if we reset your password, we cannot use it to see your email. Conversely, if you lose your password and want us to reset it, remember you will have lost your past email when you login again. So it is a good idea to setup Outlook and download all email to your local computer. Is that it? Yup, that's it folks for the time being! If you have great ideas for enhancing this site, do let us know.  (Be reasonable, we have day jobs, so only suggest things that YOU can actually do, or something that may be very simple for us to do). पारीक डॉट नेट क्या है? इस समय पारीक डॉट नेट सिर्फ एक ईमेल पोर्टल है, जिसे आप पारीक डॉट नेट ईमेल के लिए इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं. मान लीजिये आपका नाम abc है. तो आपको ईमेल अकाउंट "abc@pareek.net" मिल सकता है. अगर आप पारीक.नेट ईमेल अकाउंट चाहते हैं, तो एक ईमेल admin@pareek.net को भेजें. जो ईमेल पता आप चाहते हैं, वो ईमेल में लिख कर भेजें. हम आपका ईमेल अकाउंट बनाकर आपको एक-दो दिन में सूचित कर देंगे. अक्सर हमें एक साथ बहुत से अकाउंट बनाने का निवेदन मिलता है. जैसे कि दर्ज़न भर एक साथ. यानि चाचा, चची, दादी, बुआ, भतीजा-भतीजी, सभी का नाम लिख कर भेज दिया जाता है कि भाई सभी का ईमेल अकाउंट बना दीजिये. अब वैसे तो इसमें कोई परेशानी नहीं हैं, लेकिन यदि इन लोगों ने कभी ईमेल इस्तेमाल ही नहीं करनी, तो हमसे मेहनत करवा कर क्या फायदा? यह पारीक डॉट नेट चलेगी कैसे? अकाउंट बनने के बाद आप अपनी ईमेल के लिए वेब एड्रेस http://gmail.pareek.net या सीधे जीमेल पर http://mail.google.com/a/pareek.net/ जा कर अपनी ईमेल का प्रयोग कर सकते हैं. आपका ईमेल एड्रेस "@pareek.net" से समाप्त होगा. आप Outlook या अन्य ईमेल प्रोग्राम भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं ईमेल को अपने कंप्यूटर पर डाउनलोड करने के लिए, और हमारी तो यह राय है कि ऐसा जरूर करें. इसलिए क्योंकि यदि आपका पासवर्ड गुम हो जाये, या कोई अन्य परेशानी हो तो आपके अपने कंप्यूटर पर आपकी ईमेल का बैक अप तो रहेगा. क्या मेरी ईमेल सुरक्षित है? क्या आप मेरी ईमेल पढ़ सकते हैं? नहीं. क्योंकि पारीक डॉट नेट गूगल ऐप्प्स पर आधारित है, यह उतनी ही सुरक्षित है जितनी कि gmail. अगर आपका पासवर्ड गुम हो जाये, तो हमें लिखें, और हम उसे फिर से सेट कर देंगे. हमारा पता है admin@pareek.net. याद रहे कि यदि आपका पासवर्ड गुम हो गया है और हमने उसे रिसेट किया, तो आपकी पुरानी सभी ईमेल अकाउंट से डिलीट हो जायेगी, यानी हट जायेगी. यह आपकी सुरक्षा के लिए है ताकि हम या कोई अन्य एडमिन पासवर्ड रिसेट करके आपकी ईमेल न पढ़ सके.
